Your Invite to the New Strawberry Fields Digital Hub
Our move to the Strawberry Fields Digital Hub is complete and the Brick Technology team have quickly settled in to our offices at the brand-new, purpose built business centre. As one of the first companies to become part of the unique and innovative Strawberry Fields project, Brick Technology is ideally placed to make a strong, lasting impact.
Described as 'a hi-tech business centre for digital and creative businesses, providing collaborative space and bespoke office suites', the Strawberry Fields Digital Hub is a future-forward location with 54,000 sq ft of state-of-the-art office space. The £8.4 million complex, partly funded by he European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), is ideally located in the centre of Chorley, close to Junction 8 of the M61.
Strawberry Fields is purpose-built and has been designed with sustainability firmly in mind: the building is one of the most environmentally-friendly across the whole of Lancashire and boasts a BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) rating of 'excellent': first published by the BRE (Building Research Establishment) almost three decades ago, BREEAM is the longest-established method of assessing, rating and certifying structural sustainability.
Independent financial experts have estimated that Strawberry Fields Digital Hub will generate an additional £18.5 for the economy of Lancashire. Councillor Alistair Bradley, the Leader of Chorley Council, said: "This is a hugely important development for Chorley that will put us right at the heart of the growing digital sector and create hundreds of high value jobs".
